Robyn Rosen, aka Leanashe has been creating hand made jewelry since 1994. Her earliest works included simple gemstone beadwork and wirework, and then she moved on to learn new skills including chainmail design. She is constantly creating new patterns taking inspiration from mediums such as modern fashion, antique jewelry, and medireview legend. Her latest works are a combination of chainmail, wire work and polymer clay, always striving to put a new spin on this ancient art form. All of the techniques that she uses were self-taught

Chainmail is most commonly seen as heavy steel armor, such as that worn by warriors in the middle ages, but Robyn developed her own unique method of creating chainmail jewelry. Her interest in fairy lore has been a major influence in her use of jump rings as small as 3 millimeters, in stainless steel and sterling silver, to achieve a look that is elegant and contemporary which can be worn with all fashions including tailored business suits and glamorous evening wear.

Robyn's jewelry was featured in the Balance Between Worlds fashion show at Mother, and the La Bella Lucretia fashion show at Marion's, which was recently included in the Videofashion Television show. She participated in the Serpent's Circle fashion competition in St. Patrick's Day, 1999 and she orchestrated her own chainmail fashion show for The House of St. Eve on April 1st,2000. Her current customers include Ian's, Leather Rose and Purple Passion in New York, along with The Dark Gift in Beverly Hills, CA and Moondancer in New Jersey. Past customers have included Elizabeth Gracen of Highlander the TV series, and several models and actresses have purchased her work for use in promotional photographs.

Much of her jewelry has sold at conventions and shows throughout the New York and New Jersey area. The Chiller Theatre Convention is a semi-annual collectibles show that she has participated in since 1994. She also participated in the Renaissance Festivals at The Cloisters and in Somerset, New Jersey. Others shows where her jewelry has sold quite successfully were the Syndicon Highlander Convention, Shorecon, Lottapalooka Outdoor Music Festival, and various psychic fairs just to name a few.
