RatkaMira Popovic, Steel Girl

Ratka

Ratka is a very talented and creative woman. Here, she poses with a couple of her commissioned pieces.

To the left, an art project for the City of Oakland, CA. - a birdbath in steel. To the right, a corporate sign for Neomorphic, the company that broke the human genome code.

One of the original co-collaborators that helped start up The Crucible, a sculpture school in Berkeley, CA, Ratka now does all the PR for the school and has her own studio there.

Her specialties: welded, torch cut, assemblage of found metals, painted, and life inspired metal sculptures predominantly designed for gardens.

Ratka likes the juxtaposition of nature and sculpture.

You can reach her via e-mail or check out her other life - her massage therapy practice site.
